Paris // 2019
Paris was admittedly more of a tourist exploration - visiting some of the most iconic monuments, taking a boat tour along the Seine, and a little visit to DisneyLand - but for the three days we were there, we took advantage of every moment and constantly moving through the City of Lights.
The Eiffel Tower was breath-taking at night, and the city was so active and vibrant it made the trip all the better. Not to mention DisneyLand - which just exeduded this feeling of wonder that could not be ignored regardless of age.
Berlin was something else. It was an amazing experience of rich culture and history - exploring the East Side Gallery and a number of museums - both art and history - whilst there. I was also lucky enough to be there during the Christmas period - and so the Christmas markets were also mine to explore - and they were perhaps the best I'd been to.
I think the most interesting part though, was seeing the history in the city itself as you could still see the old divisions, evidenced by the different architecture styles on either side.
